Not even the cold wet weather dissuaded visitors to Old Towne Orange's biennial home tour that took place November 5 & 6. This successful tour managed to attract more than 1,300 visitors!
With little trepidation six very gracious property owners opened their homes, inviting friends and tourists for a peek inside. Tour goers were greeted with smiles and open arms from the nearly 120 people who generously volunteered their time for this very popular OTPA event.
Led by the experience of former OTPA Volunteer of the Year recipient's Diana Zdenek and Annalisa Goode, and by former Home Tour hosts Wendy Bennett and Glory Johnson, this year's tour was a huge success!
Old Towne Preservation Association greatly appreciates the efforts of our members and community for making this significant fundraising event possible. I would like to acknowledge and thank our extraordinary homeowners: Robyn and Bob Tunstall, Lora and Dave Royster, Gayle and Dale Ray, Dan Slater, Michelle Carder, and Kris Olsen representing Chapman University. Without their thoughtfulness and commitment, this event would not have been possible. We look forward to another triumphant tour in 2013! |
