WHAT CAN YOU DO?

If you're an Old Towne resident, home owner, business owner or represent a commercial or non-profit organization, you have a vested interest in protecting the quality of your community.   

Join up now, we need your help and support on one or more of these committees: 

  • Home Tours - Opening up selected historic homes and structures for the public to appreciate.

  • International Street Faire - Operating a food or beverage booth as an annual fund raiser.

  • Preservation Awards Dinner - Bringing the community together for an evening of fellowship and fun as we recognize the best in preservation projects.

  • Community Involvement - Organize events to introduce OTPA to the community such as, the carved pumpkin contest.

  • Public Affairs - Attend forums and city meetins to provide OTPA's opinion and recommendation based on the city's design standards.

  • Education & Research - Creates and executes outreach programs to keep residents informed of appropriate issues, and prepares research material to support OTPA positions.

  • Fund Development - Creates and runs projects to raise money including Home Tours every other years and the Street Faire booth.

  • Preservation monitors new projects and prepares reviews for appropriate agency.

  • Communications - Produces newsletters and other communications.

  • Membership - Creates outreach programs to increase our numbers.
