Revised Old Towne Orange Design & Build Standards
In 1995, the City of Orange adopted the Old Towne Design Standards to guide property owners on how to maintain and repair their historic structures, and how to plan for new construction. The Old Towne Preservation Association was instrumental in creating these standards 23 years ago, and has been vocal advocates for enforcement ever since. These standards protect and preserve Old Towne’s unique character. Prior to December 2017, these were were last updated December of 1999!
In recent years, OTPA has pushed for appropriate updating and revision, and the City recently completed and approved its revision of the Old Towne Orange Design Standards.
